Youth might start with their doctor, or a doctor may recommend that they enter a treatment facility. R-Resilient Group Homes will bring the youth to a self-help group, such as Narcotics Anonymous, or into a clinic that deals with drug abuse.
R-Resilient Group Homes may have a treatment team to help the youth. This team may include a psychologist or psychiatrist, counselors, doctors, social workers, nurses, and a case manager. A case manager helps plan and manage the youth treatment.
Youth’s may be asked questions about their drug use, health problems, work, and/or future living situation. They are encouraged to be open and honest to get the best treatment possible. Our team may write a plan, which includes the youth’s treatment goals and ways to reach those goals. This helps them stay on track.
